80 Burpees Facing Box Jump Over

Height of the box

24-inch for men (61 cm) – RX and SCALED

20-inch for women (51 cm) – RX and SCALED

VARIATION

Rx : Step-down is allowed after the jump on the box

        The burpee has to be done respecting the standards of the Open (the feet  thrown back and brought together)

 

Scaled : Step-up and step- down are allowed while crossing over the box

Step-up and step-down is allowed  for the burpee

DESCRIPTION

At the call of «3,2,1…go», the athlete starts the wod 1 with the feet facing the box and does as many reps as possible  within the time limit. There is a 10-minute time cap. The score of the athlete will be the number of reps completed.

If all 80 reps are completed within the time cap, the score will be clearly seen on the timer. This workout ends when the feet land on the ground on the other side of the box on the final rep.

STANDARD VIDEO

Prior to starting, film the box to be used so the height can be seen clearly. 

Tape or line that bisects the burpee box jump area to respect the «facing» while doing the burpee. 

All video submissions should be uncut  and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. 

A clock or a timer, with the running workout time clearly visible, should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. 

Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.
